1. How long have you been cooperating with the Dunav Reinsurance?

My cooperation with the reinsurer Dunav Reinsurance JSC started in 1998, while the company where I then was working “Harris and Dixon Ltd.” , has been doing business  with the Dunav Reinsurance JSC since its establishment of the company.

The eighties and nineties of the 20th century were golden years of the cooperation with the Danube reinsurance. Our cooperation was such that it was the Dunav Reinsurance JSC was one of the founders of brokerage houses in London, called ” International Reinsurance Brokers Ltd “, which was dealing with reinsurance business in the London market.

2. How much does the international practice of the reinsurance industry differ from the local?

Reinsurance industry is relatively small and by definition, a very international so that international industry practice does not differ significantly from local. The Main difference is that over a long period of time, the whole insurance sector has gone through the acquisition of smaller, local companies by large, international corporations. That trend is also present in Serbia where the Dunav Group is the only company for insurance and reinsurance in local ownership.

3. What would you like to do to your colleagues from the Dunav Reinsurance JSC, on the occasion of a significant jubilee?

First of all, I would like to thank them for their support and cooperation during the past 20 years and to continue with successful business in the next 40 years, too.
