A message from the President of the Executive Board

On May 18, 2017, Dunav Re JSC celebrated forty years in business since its creation by organizing a gathering attended by more than 200 officials from the insurance and reinsurance industry, from over 20 countries. In the magnificent surroundings of Kalemegdan fortress, combining both traditional and contemporary settings, we presented our Company, which today is renowned for professionalism, respecting its clients, ongoing education of its employees, and a stable position in the market.

For the first time in this region, a gathering of this size has been organized, which will remain recorded as a unique opportunity to bring together representatives of the largest European companies, together with local partners in the insurance and reinsurance businesses. The celebration of the anniversary of Danube Re was ranked at the very top of the world industry meetings and showed that Dunav Re JSC is a recognizable and a respected brand.

For over forty years, the Dunav Re JSC has developed confidence in itself, its capabilities based on trust, professionalism, sincerity and good intentions, through the support of its partners and these joint efforts have resulted in a very successful business. The results achieved in 2016 also support this, considering that the Company made a profit of 207 million RSD.

I am convinced that the Dunav Re JSC y now has a good and strong team for the future.

In the years ahead, I expect further success and even better results.
