Meet Our Leadership

Vladimir Uzelac was born in 1979 in Belgrade. He graduated in 2002 from the Faculty of Economics and Business in Belgrade, with major in Finance, Banking and Insurance.

In 2012, he specialized in the Executive program in banking management at SDA Bocconi in Milan, Italy. He started his career in the banking sector, first at Delta Bank / Bank Intesa, and continued in management positions at AIK Bank Belgrade, and later Komercijalna Bank until 2022.

He also held the position of operational director in Belgrade land development public agency from September 2022 to April 2023.

In the period from May 2021 to October 2023, he was a member of the Supervisory Board of Dunav Insurance Company.

He has been a member of the Executive Board of Dunav Reinsurance since October 2023, and was appointed to the position of President of the Executive Board in June 2024.

Mr. Uzelac is married and father of two children.

Bojan Maričić was born on November 14, 1961 in Kraljevo. He graduated from the Faculty of Law in 1987. He began his career at Fabrika vagona Kraljevo, where he held various positions from legal officer to director of the legal, personnel and general affairs department.

After that, he worked in the Republic Directorate for Commodity Reserves as head of control, and then in ITB Bank (later Dunav Bank) as an adviser in the credit department. He started his work at Dunav Reinsurance on January 1, 1996 as acting director of the main branch of Vojvodina Re in Novi Sad.

During his 29 years of career at Dunav Re, he performed the duties of director of the legal and general affairs department, executive director for legal affairs, assistant general director for human resources and legal affairs, as well as a member of the Executive Board in charge of legal, human resources, general affairs and controlling.

He has been a member of the Insurance Law Association (AIDA) since 1998.

He has been a member of the Executive Board of Dunav Re since June 2020.

Mr. Maričić is married and father of two children.

Vladimir Purić was born in 1979 in Belgrade, where he completed primary and secondary school. He completed his graduate studies in business and industrial management in year 2014. Since year 2005 he has been building his career at Dunav Reinsurance company. Through the roles of underwriter, senior underwriter and underwriting director at Dunav Re, Mr. Purić gained significant experience in the reinsurance field.

Through advanced seminars throughout the country and abroad, he specialized in many areas of insurance and reinsurance industry (Aviation, Marine, Motor & Casualty, Property Proportional and Non-Proportional, Parametric solutions).

In the period from 2014 until today, he participated in the most important conferences of the international reinsurance market which are held in Monte Carlo, Baden Baden, GAIF (Mena region), Shanghai.

He has been a member of the Executive Board of Dunav Re since June 2024.
Mr. Purić is married and father of two children.

Aleksandra Nikolić was born in 1975 in Leskovac, where she completed elementary school and high school. She graduated in 1997 from the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade, major in English language and literature.

Mrs. Nikolić gained her work experience at Dunav Reinsurance, where she worked as an underwriter, senior underwriter and coordinator. She improved her knowledge through seminars which were held in the country and abroad and thus specialized in many insurance and reinsurance fields (Life & Health, Motor & Casualty, Marine, Property Proportional and Non-Proportional, Advanced Solutions, Sustainability Management).

Since 2008, she has been regularly participating in the most important conferences of the international reinsurance market.

She has been at the position of the reinsurance director since 2020.
Mrs. Nikolić is married and mother of two children.

Branko Pavlović was born in 1986 in Belgrade, where he completed elementary school and high school. He graduated in 2011 from the Faculty of Economics, major in Finance, Banking and Insurance, and completed his master studies in 2012 at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences.

He gained his work experience at ”Borba” printing company as a clerk and head of bookkeeping. He continued his working experience at Dunav Re, where he was at the positions of head of accounting, financial director assistant and director of the accounting department. From September 2021 to August 2024, he was head of the accounting department at Wiener Stadtische Insurance and the finance and accounting department at Teletrader.

He assumed the position of the director of finance and accounting sector in September 2024.

Mr. Pavlović is married and father of one child.

Sanja Stoiljković was born in 1983 in Belgrade, where she completed primary and secondary school. She completed her basic academic and master studies at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences of the University of Belgrade.

She gained work experience in reinsurance while working at Dunav Re as underwriter and coordinator. She improved her skills through seminars in the country and abroad, participated in conferences of the international reinsurance market.

In the period from 2010 to 2020, she worked as underwriter, Claims division coordinator and Accounting and claims division coordinator.
Ms. Stoiljković has been at the position of Director of the technical accounting, IT and information department since August 2020.

Aleksa Aksentijević was born in 1989 in Belgrade. He completed primary and secondary school in Belgrade, and obtained his bachelor and master degrees at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Belgrade.

After completing his basic studies, in 2013 he started working at Dunav Insurance Company as a underwriter at the Main branch office in Belgrade, and in 2016 he became a Specialist in the Sector for sale through insurance intermediaries. In 2017, he was appointed as the director of Insurance Main Branch in Obrenovac.

In the period from 2018 to 2023, he performed the duties of director of the Main insurance branch Belgrade 1 and Belgrade sales region coordinator. From 2023, he assumed the director position of the Sector for intermediaries and bancassurance and position of deputy director of the Directorate for sale of non-life insurance products.

In the period from 2020 to 2024, he was a member of the Supervisory Board of Dunav društvo za upravljanje dobrovoljnim penzijskim fondom a.d. .

He has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Dunav Re since June 2024.

Mr. Aksentijević is married and father of two children.

Milica Milićević was born in 1988 in Sokobanja. She finished elementary school and high school in Belgrade. She obtained her bachelor and master degrees at the Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade.

After completing her basic studies, she started working at Dunav Insurance Company in 2013, as a underwriter in the internal sales network. Due to her dedicated work and commitment in year 2017 she was appointed as the head of the External Sales Department. With further progress in her career, in 2020 she was appointed to the position of director of the Main Insurance Branch Belgrade 2, and in July 2023 she also assumed the position of coordinator of the Belgrade Sales Region.

In the period from April 2020 to May 2022, she was a member of the Supervisory Board of Dunav Insurance Company.

She has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Dunav Re since June 2022.

Mrs. Milićević is married and mother of three children.

Siniša Nišić was born in 1962 in Sarajevo. He graduated in 1987 from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Sarajevo. He started his professional career in 1989 at Šipad Sarajevo company, where he gained his first experiences in the field of sales and business until 1992.

He continued his career in Belgrade, working in Ekos Insurance in the period from 1999 to 2004, and then in Zepter Insurance in the period from 2004 to 2007, where he held the position of the finance and accounting sector director.

When Uniqa Group from Austria took over Zepter Insurance in 2007, Siniša Nišić was appointed as a member of the Management Board of Uniqa Non-Life Insurance, where he was in charge of finance and accounting.

From 2012 to 2016, he was a member of the Executive Board of Uniqa Non-life insurance, where he was also in charge of finance and accounting.

In December 2016, he was appointed as the President of the Executive Board of Uniqa Life Insurance.

At the end of his mandate, he transferred to Sava Insurance, where he assumed the position of Finance and Accounting director.

Mr. Nišić obtained his certified accountant license in year 2000.
